Just an update on the visa situation. Thanks to some help from friends in Canada we were able to start processing the Canadian visa applications and all looks fine there. We did not have to go to the boarder and get their passports stamped, however we did have a problem because Canada requires fifteen days to process visas so we had to change our flight to November 18 instead of the 11th. We have gone back and forth about what to do with the American visas and talked to different people with varying views. In the end we decided to let it be known that we are missionaries. We sent all our visas to one consulate with a letter saying what we planned to do and that we were going mainly to help out and not to do open air evangelism. Our contact in Brazil also sent the consulate a letter. Hopefully this will work.
So, on Monday we will be driving down to Estes Park, Colorado for the Go Conference which is a week long. After that we hope to be able to do some kind of ministry in Denver until the 18th when we fly out.
