When i first arrived they were still working on hanging the sign which they (horror of all horrors) went about differently then they had all the other years. One of the John Deere tractors used to tow the soap box cars up the hill. I stuck this pic in for all the Deere lovers out there; thought you might appreciate a close up.
A few random town folk grilling up some hot dogs. A cowboy hat, shorts, and black ankle socks; what can i say, we Lima beans are a special lot.
the cars taking off at the top of the first hill. This is only a test run so they did not come off of the ramps.

After reaching the bottom of hte first hill the tractors came and drug them up the second hill where they would turn around and wait to do another test run on that hill.
