Personalized Service

Due to my mom's moving to PA i decided to close my bank account in New York and open a savings account here in Wyoming. A few months ago i had opened a checking account at the one and only bank in Meeteetse WY. So i went today to open the savings. i walked in the front door and there was one lady behind the desk she greeted me and introduced herself and asked if i had an account with them. When i went to give her my name she had me stop right after my first name. She was like, "wait, just a second, i know it. Is it Davis?" Creepy. It was like she had inside information, or was spying on me or something. Then a little bit later she apologized for not recognizing me right off, she figured she must have been out when i came in to open my first account. Yep, it is a whole different world out here.

In other news, I got a huge surprise on Monday. i had decided that since it would probably be a little while, or maybe a long while, before i would have another roommate that i might as well spread out and use what space i needed. So i took over two drawers of the extra dresser and took over the other clothes rack, along with the entire bookshelf, all the coat hooks, and one of the two drawers in the bedside stand. I had just got it all settled just right when Reba popped over to my room to make sure i knew that i had a roommate coming in later that day. AHHHH!!! Then she went on to inform me that the girl was only visting to see if she would want to come on staff so she would not need to much room. I still felt that to make a good impression i should not have the whole room taken over so i emptied out all of the extra dresser but one drawer, all of the bedside stand, the other clothes rack and two coat hooks. I am so generous aren't I? She only ended up one drawer in teh dresser bu that is okay. She left today and i don't know what her decision was about coming on as staff. We actually h ave another girl coming sometime this week to check out the base and see if she wants to come on staff. This week is the week of visitor that is for sure. We have some families coming for the DTS graduation and one student already has several friends here and his parents and pastor are coming too. I don't know if i can handle so many people.

Anyhow, life has been good. It is right now about 50 degrees and sunny. Hehehehehe
