Two weeks ago the Discipleship Training School, students and staff, left Wyoming to go to the YWAM Go Conference in Colorado. We had an amazing time and several of the students heard from God as to where they were going after DTS. The conference was a week long and after words we stayed at a friend’s house in Denver for a week. During the week in Denver we fed over 4,000 homeless people at the Veteran’s Day parade, cleaned and painted the floor of a inner city church, packed 2,450 boxes at Food Bank of the Rockies, helped out at SOX ministry, we went to an inner city Christian school and did random jobs like organizing the library, putting in window pains, replacing light bulbs, and much more. For the weekend we split the team and one half went down to New Mexico and did some work there while the other half, which I was a part of, stayed in Denver and helped with a food bank run by a church near by. We also set up an imitation Indian bizarre in the church, and did some cleaning and organizing. On Sunday we went to church and after the service we helped with the bizarre. The team was reunited late that night.

Staffing the DTS lecture phase in Wyoming has been amazing. I got the opportunity to see 14 young adults grow closer to God each day and was very excited to see what God would do in and through their lives on outreach. Sadly, due to health issues I am not going on outreach but have instead returned to New York indefinitely. I do plan to go back to Wyoming for the DTS graduation in January.

On Tuesday November 18, the half of the DTS that had their visas boarded a plain for Brazil. The other half will not be going to Brazil at all but will instead leave Monday, November 24, for Costa Rica.
